Few more steps, and I’ll finally enter a new chapter of my life. Never in my mind that It will be this hard to make a decision in regarding to the course that I’m going to take. I thought that it’s not a big deal because in the end, I’ll get a job after in whatever instances after taking up college. I also didn’t even considered thinking about where to spend my college years. Well, in fact, I was not bothered when it talks about decision makings in related to college. But as I grew older, there’s a passion in me that started to foster.
I’m going to take Psychology course for my upcoming college. I was undecided lately but God gave me enough courage to finally settle with this course. Thinking about where to go to college was really hard for me. I must consider our financial state, knowing that I also have siblings who go to school. It took a while to search for a school that actually fits for me and also for the course that I’ll be taking. And thanks be to God that I found the school that I like.
With their Vision “A premiere Philippine educational institution of choice which provides global leaders and professionals.” Together with their Mission “Riverside College develops leaders and professionals through excellent programs in healthcare and various disciplines that cultivates creativity and critical thinking anchored on Lux et Caritas.” Riverside College is where I’ll be spending my college years. I know that this school is equipped and would be able to help me to reach my purpose which to learn. I foresee this school with an expertise when it comes to the medical courses and I even right now, I claim great opportunities awaiting as I enter this school.
In everything I do, I totally surrender my plans to the Lord. I know He’ll make a way for me just to enter this school – for with Him, nothing is impossible. I’m spending time to pray as I’m going to take the entrance exam for the next days. During this times, I know that I’ll only be clinging to God and trust in whatever path He’ll lead me through. Never in my mind to take Psychology nor to consider Riverside College as my dream school, but I know that He worked in me and planted a seed in my heart to trust him wherever He leads. Holding on to His promise “For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” from Jeremiah 29:11.
